Hello, my name is Laura Pyle, and I live in Gainesville, Florida. In just a few short weeks I will be beginning my 6th year of teaching. This year I have decided to use Whole Brain Teaching or WBT. I thought I would start this blog to share my journey through my first year of WBT. I have been reading "Whole Brain Teaching for Challenging Kids" by Chris Biffle. If you are interested in Whole Brain Teaching check out the book or the website wholebrainteaching.com, these are great places to start.

I am excited to be teaching third grade this year, and I will be looping with my same group from last year. A little about my school. It is a private school, but we are a Title I school. We go PK-12, and we have many ESE students.  In fact, we even have a horseback program on campus.
